Sail Away 03:44
Wary eyes wonder onward Stumbling on to something good Still I feel whispers unheard The ground has changed from where I stood It’s ok to let it go Sometimes you need to Sail away Sail away Sail away Sail away Sail away Sail away Leave behind your other world Keep your eyes casted forward Moving on just like you should Although it’s hard to form the words It’s ok to let it go Sometimes you need to Sail away Sail away Sail away Sail away Sail away Sail away

Rundown 05:43
And this town grows as old as the next one Weathered by time long gone Aged and jaded by rocky weather Never to forget or remember And now I’m feeling so rundown It’s rubbing off on me this town Will there be beaches underground When I am no longer around And this town grows as old as the next one Weathered by time long Gone Aged and jaded by rocky weather Never to forget or remember And now I’m feeling so rundown It’s rubbing off on me this town Will there be beaches underground When I am no longer around And now I’m feeling so rundown It’s rubbing off on me this town Will there be beaches underground When I am no longer around

Blue Lies 04:52
Mirrors paint the places out of sight Only introspection’s on my side How could I wonder anymore Is there a way to be self assured Blue Lies, shapes who you can lose in time Blue lies, shapes who you can lose in time Mirrors paint the places out of sight Only introspection’s on my side How could I wonder anymore Is there a way to be self assured Blue Lies, shapes who you can lose in time Blue lies, shapes who you can lose in time Blue lies, shapes who you can lose in time Blue lies, shapes who you can lose in time Blue lies Blue lies

Long Gone 04:15
I see your face appear In patterns on the sand Drifting away in thought Just like a wave I’m caught In a deep gaze eyes lock But when the morning comes And the mirage is done Will you be long Gone Bittersweet moments arise From deep inside my mind Vanishing away from view Just like the morning dew In the hot afternoon But when the morning comes And the mirage is done Will you be long Gone I see your face appear In patterns on the sand Drifting away in thought Just like a wave I’m caught In a deep gaze eyes lock You’re fading away You’re fading away You’re fading away You’re fading away But when the morning comes And the mirage is done Will you be long Gone You’re fading away I see your face appear You’re fading away In patterns on the sand You’re fading away Drifting away in thought You’re fading away Just like a wave I’m caught But when the morning comes And the mirage is done Will you be long Gone

Midnight Fog 05:01
Stay here with me Surrounded by trees of silver Moonlight shimmering As the midnight fog takes over our view Takes over our view And all I see is you All I see is you Is any of this true Stay here with me Surrounded by trees of silver Quietly breathing in and out As the midnight fog takes over our view Takes over our view And all I see you All I see you Is any of this true

Only You 03:09
The burden swept aside It’s what you choose to gain Search from where you hide There’s only you to blame Set it right Let it be true Free your mind There’s only you The burden left to shake Determines what it weighs Inadvertent fate Shows not easily swayed Set it right Let it be true Free your mind There’s only you Set it right Let it be true Free your mind There’s only you Only you Only you Only you Only you Only you Only you

Astoria 05:19
Watching as the boats drift out to sea Lonely as can be Climbing up the tower oh so high Drifting silently Clouds are hanging just up overhead Flowing carelessly Grey skies overcast in silent trees Water thrashing violent Astoria Astoria Astoria Astoria

All I see is you Eventually fade And change your fate The life you choose To lead will hurt As does all that is And has or will have ever been To wait and see An evolving view To wait and see An evolving Break and mend Through time And long endless nights Alone at sea You changed your tune Just out of key From who you have been Something unlike the one you were To wait and see An evolving view To wait and see An evolving view To wait and see An evolving view To wait and see These evolving views of you An evolving view An evolving view

Final Breath 04:14
Massive waves erase the days like razor blades just scrapping off the cliffside How can I embrace my ways mistakes I’ve made I set my gaze to capsize So I’ll stand on this sinking boat Never to come back for I’ve gone far too deep Well I’ve gone too deep

about

Gritty guitars strung out in modulating waves cascade over punchy drums and ethereal vocals that sound like a day dream while the sun beats down on a hot summers day.

From the warm sun breaking through gray clouds on sandy cold beaches to the aged and weathered towns of Washington’s peninsula, stems the inspiration for the psych-rock record Klipsan Hideaway. An album based on the adventures had all around the PNW and the time spent down at Long Beach in the summer of 2018. Opening with the upbeat catchy intro track Sail Away, a song about moving forward and marking the beginning of a new chapter, that kick starts the album with each subsequent track flowing seamlessly from one to the next. Ending with Final Breath, a song from the perspective of a sailors cruel fate in a shipwreck upon ‘the Graveyard of the Pacific’ with imagery of giant waves battling against the rocky shores as the boat goes down finding its way to move right back into the opening sequence, making the entire album its own infinite experience.
